Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Meet in Victoria and make a visit to the Bomber Command Memorial in Green Park, we then head to the location of Bomber Command HQ and a special visit to Arthur Harris's office before transferring to Lincolnshire and a visit to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at nearby RAF Coningsby. Following the tour, it is only a short ride to our base the historic Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa. Settle in and welcome drinks. 
Freetime for dinner in the hotel or in town. 
  

Day 2

After a full buffet breakfast we make a visit to East Kirkby to view Lancaster NX611 'Just Jane' up close, after time to explore the museum and fascinating finds of the Lincolnshire Aircraft Recovery Group we visit a  few ex-bomber bases in the area including RAF Metheringham before returning to our hotel.
Evening talk on the German Nightfighter force and its impact on Bomber Command by Alan Barker. 
Freetime for dinner in the hotel or in town.   

Day 3

After checking out from our hotel we head north to the newly opened International Bomber Command Centre, Canwick Hall before making our way to the Yorkshire Aviation Museum to see the Halifax 'Friday 13th'. A number of other Bomber Command sites are visited before the group disperses at either York Railway Station (itself heavily bombed during the war) or return to London for an evening drop off by the coach
