Proposed Itinerary  

Day One - 
Collection from Central London location and transfer to tour base in Amiens, welcome brief on arrival including historic context, 
(Overnight in Central Amiens Hotel) Breakfast & evening meal included

Day Two - 
Breakfast followed by group activities     
1. Signalling- "The Fog of War" An excercise in the use of Flags & Morse messages
2. Cooking- “The Mess Tin Challenge” Hand on task using Hexy burners, wartime ingredients & mess tins
3. Medical - "Stretcher Bearers" Problem solving in casualty evacuation using wartime medical equipment 
4. Archaeology - Underground experience at the Glory Hole site La Boiselle 
Afternoon AIF Battlefield walking tour of Pozieres/Mouquet Farm area 
A group evening meal & quiz to end the day

Day Three 
Challenge Event Day (Historic points unmanned but info provided/check points manned) 
• Start Point –  Franco Australian Museum, Villers Bretonneux 
• Historic Point I – Cachy (scene of first Tank on Tank action of the war)
• Historic Point II - Adelaide Cemetery (Australian Unknown Warrior site) 
• Historic Point III/Check Point A - Monash Centre/Australian National Memorial Villers Bretonneux – (Check Point at the top of the Bell Tower/Viewing Platform) 10KM 
• Historic Point IV – Australian Corps Memorial, Le Hamel 
• Historic Point V – The Somme River 
• Historic Point VI/Check Point B -Beacon CWGC (Anzac Actions on Morlancourt Ridge) 25KM  
• Historic Point VII – Fifth Australian Division Memorial Morlancourt 
• Historic Point VIII/Check Point C -  Albert Basilica (named ‘Fanny Durack’ by Anzacs after their famous swimmer) 35KM 
 (Overnight in Amiens Hotel) Breakfast, packed lunch on the walk, evening meal and prize giving ceremony

Day Four – 
Australian focussed battlefield tour including
• Arras Flying Services Memorial – & the story of Clifford Peel 
• Fromelles battlefield and final wreath laying ceremony 
• Return to London and early evening drop off
